Haha, just came home from dinner with ZHC & Rino(aka Ino, that person who's been tagging nonsense on the tagboard). Really had a good time with those 2 guys, chatted over dinner, reminiscing our past days in secondary school, all the way back in Secondary 1. Hahaha, yea, we go WAY back in secondary 1, and we have been good buddies ever since.

Those two guys are like my good old time friends, and we all agree that those secondary school days were the bomb. Had a really good time, and we just kept laughing about all the silly stuff we did back in those days, and we just had a good time catching up. Oh man, I really miss those guys, neighbourhood buddies, and I'm really glad to know those 2 idiots, hahaha, great company to be around with.
Alright alright, going to sleep soon, so Peace People!

Well, it's almost reaching the end of the vacation, and as usual, the holiday syndrome has set in. It seemed as though it would be just as boring as the other vacations, but it turned out that it won't be so. ZHC has been coming over a few times over the past few days to play, but not to play computer games, but to play the piano instead. Hahahaha, and because of him so eager to learn the piano, I had to teach him the basics, and it was the first time I have ever touched my piano since I stopped 5 years ago.

It's been a really long time since I tried playing the piano again, and of course, I couldn't play as well as I did half decade ago. Well, I guess since I have nothing to do this holiday, might as well pick up the piano again with ZHC. And like the guitar, I think I should get cracking on learning it all over again, and I want to reach my goal of mastering the guitar, piano and drums. Now come to think of it, I have been really privileged to be able to learn the piano last time, so I guess I shouldn't waste a perfectly good instrument in the house.

Ok,good night people, take care!!

Yesterday was Mr Foo's 18th birthday, and what a day it was. Very tiring day, but we all really got to meet up with old friends, and catch up with each other. Celebrated his birthday at Marina Square's Swensen's and had a great time there. I'll let the pictures do the talking then:

Happy 18th Birthday Daniel Foo Qi Cheng!!!!!!

Just spent half the day with Zheng Hao (ZHC), and it was quite a good day I must say. We met up for lunch and just when we wanted to go home, we decided to watch a movie. Hahaha,it was such a last minute decision, and we ended up watching ''Ratatouille'', and it was actually a good decision to do so. The movie was really funny and really touching at the same time, really glad we both finally got to watch the much-talked-about movie.

Then headed to his place, because he wanted to show me this new MMORPG game called '2moons'. Looks interesting, but despite all his persuasion and tempting me, I will not download it, because I want to take a break from online games.

Then I reached home, bathed, and just sat down in front of my computer, and that guy sms-ed me to go out for dinner. -_-'' Hahahaha, so we did, and he brought up something really interesting over dinner. You know how all the soccer players in all the football clubs have a certain price right? Interested buyers have to pay the amount a player is worth right? Then ZHC pointed out something:

"Isn't it sad that these talented players need to have a price tag hung over their heads? They have to bought and sold like items, and I really pity them, because they are really being treated like novelty items."

I thought about it, and now come to think of it, it really makes sense doesn't it? I mean football clubs buy and sell these players like nobody's business, and even though the prices can fall in the range of millions, I still think that no price tag should be placed for people. No matter where they come from or their background, no human on earth should be given a price, it just seems degrading. However, you might ask about maids and all, and I don't really know how to rebutt that, but I find that it's just food for thought, that's all.

Good morning beautiful people! What a lovely morning today, on the 20th of September 2007. It looks like it's going to be a warm and sunny day, with slight showers towards the evening in the central and eastern parts of Singa.....*muffled talking*
Hi hi! sorry you all had to hear that, the weather-man was just bothering me. So anyways, got tagged by MJ to do this survey thingy, or what I liek to call it: Do-this-when-your're-bored kind of post. Hahaha, but it's alright, I have nothing to do today anyways,Sentosa can wait. :P

OK, so here we go!:

List out ur top 5 birthday presents u wish for:
1) To be blessed during that special day.
2) To get a birthday wish from all my lovely friends.
3) To have a really long and meaningful dinner with my mum and dad*really prays that it'll come true*
4) To have SONICFLOOd be my personal band for that day. Hahahaha, cause I'm now listening to them, that's why... LOL.
5) Really cool shirts and vests.

1. The person who tagged you is:
Loh Ming Jie, a.k.a MJ.

2. Your relationship with him/her:
Good pal since we became friends 1 year ago in polytechnic.

3. Your impression of him/her:
He can really memorise a lot of stuff, most of which can sometimes be irrelevant. :P

4. The most memorable thing she/he's done (with) for you:
Accompanying me around school/Singapore when nobody else is free.

5. The most memorable words that he/she said to you:
NyehNyehPooPoo. I just keep hearing him saying that a lot of times. Childish right? Hahahah,it's ok man, I like to be childish as well.

6. If he/she becomes your lover, you will:
Not going to happen, I don't go for guys even though you guys think I am, but I'm not, but you all can go on teasing me, hahaha, I guess it makes a good joke anyway.

7. If he/she's your lover what he/she has to improve on:
Well,it's not for me to say right? I 'm not him, so I don't know his true weaknesses, so its up to that individual to improve himself/herself.

8. If he/she's becomes your enemy now you will:
Still treat him as I would treat him when he was my friend. It doesn't matter of a person is my enemy, its not in my 'programming' to treat someone badly, if my enemy doesn't appreciate what I do,then so be it, then he/she is missing out on good stuff I guess.

9. If he/she becomes your enemy, reason is:
I seriously have no idea, because I don't want to be enemies with him.

10. The most desired thing you would like him/her to do now:
To just be who you are man. Sometimes its best to be who you are, it doesn't really matter what other people think, but what matters is how you think of yourself.

11. Your overall impression of him/her:
Really fun guy to be with, all the lame stuff we did together, and a really reliable guy.

12. How do you think people around you feel about you:
As easy-going guy? I have no idea, sometimes I come across as a cheerful guy, sometimes I can just be plain lame and irritating which,I find, livens up the people around me.

13. The character you love about yourself:
My politeness. I find that I keep saying Thank You everytime I go out, and its just my instinct to be polite I guess, and I just love it. =)

14. On the contrary, what character you hate about yourself:
My inability to lead other people. Even though I've been put in high-status positions a few times in my life, I can get the basic respect of the people under me, but other than that, I'm actually a person who can easily let other people walk over.

15. The most ideal person I would like to be:
I would really like to be like my cell leader Adrian, because he's just to funny and he can really keep a conversation going. Mainly because he really knows his stuff, and he has really taught me A LOT of things, and I really aspire to be like him.

16. For the people who cared and liked you, say something to them:
I just love all of you beautiful people. No more words can describe how much I Thank God for all of you in my life.

17. Pass this to 5 people you wish to know more about you (no back tagging):
1. RoS
2. Reggy
3. Michelle
4. Cyndy
5. Shu Hua

Alrighty, that's all folks! Take care and God Bless every single one of you! =)

Alrighty, just came home from Vivo! Hahahaha, went there to watch Evan Almighty with Dickson, because he hasn't watched a movie at Vivo yet, so we went there. We had lunch at Food Republic first, and I must say, the claypot laksa there is AMAZING! Of course, like all amazing things, a price tag comes along with it, and the price for the bowl of laksa is S$7, and its really expensive. But for me, its a once-in-a-while treat, so I didn't really mind. It's a must try the next time you all go Vivo.

Watching Evan Almighty the second time was just as funny, and I also missed out a bit of the details when I watched the first time with the gang. After the movie, we went to PageOne, the book store on the same level as Golden Village. We headed to the Art and Design section, and the books on CG and Digital art are also AMAZING! The artists are simply talented, and the way they render all the sketches is awesome. Some of them only used Photoshop to do the work, and they did a really good job of it, so now I'm just embarrassed to have Photoshop in my computer. Hahahaha, oh well.

But I'm really glad I spent the day with Dickson, got to know him more and we had a good time fellowshipping and enjoying the company. All in all,a really good day spent, and I need to cut my hair soon, the sideburns are just irritating me.

YEA!! Just came home after a tiring day, but let me recap the events that happened over the weekend.

Well, yesterday, went to East Coast to learn how to roller-blade from my dear friend, Isaac. Hahaha,it was really fun to learn something new and fall down and laugh about it and learn from it all. I only knew about the roller-blading session on Friday night after Primers Structure Meeting, and it was kind of a last minute decision, and I'm really glad I went with the gang. Sadly, only Cyndy, RoS and Isaac went, but still, it was a good time and we learnt the basics of balancing and moving a bit in a short time span of 2hours. I'm sure all of us are proud of ourselves for picking up something new in such a short time, and I really want to Thank Isaac for taking time to teach us. Thanks man!

Another reason why I wanted to go East Coast was to get a tan, but sadly, we only got a little of the sun, so in the end, we just went down into the water and played around for a while. Lazy Cyndy went up to the shelter to sit down, Isaac went on a blading spree around East Coast, leaving Ros and me to chit chat on the beach. Talked about a lot of stuff, and found out a few new things, so thanks for chatting with me Ros!
So that was the end of Saturday.

Today was not too bad as well. Had a great time in GKidz and cell group. And in the midst of our thanksgiving session, I realised that my results were not only my doing, but because of God as well. I know, you all might think I'm too preachy here, but honestly, during my study week, I was really seeking God's help to help me concentrate and discipline myself to sit down, lock myself out of my room, and revise my work. And honestly, He has, and always been my study partner, I always thought I needed a study partner to study with me(as in studying together at one point of time), but then I realised God was with me all the while when I was revising, and I really want to give thanks to Him. Without Him, I don't think I'll be able to get to where I am now.

So I guess that's it for the weekend, looking forward to watching Evan Almighty with Dickson this coming week, no idea when, but it should be really fun. Well, I'm going to stop here, so do take care of yourselves during this period, with all the tremors and going on. Peace!

OK! Exam results just came out not too long ago, and due to all the pestering by my friends, I went to check out my results. Feeling extremely nervous and anxious, I opened up my email, and stared at my results. Well, it was actually slightly expected. Here are the results, take a look, I’ll explain later:

Basic Conversational German [AD]
Green Vision [B]
Plant Biochemistry & Physiology [A]
Plant Pathology & Entomology [B]
Planting & Maintenance [A+]
AutoCAD [A+]

Grade Point Average (GPA): 3.6957

Well, there they are. I didn’t expect my German to get distinction, but apparently it did, and I guess I feel good about it. The rest were fairly ok, and again, I’m glad I didn’t get any Cs’ or below. I really want to Thank God for the Blessings and my results.

Sadly a few of my friends failed a module or two, so I don’t know if they will have the same timetable as us, but I hope and pray that they do. Anyways, one semester is over, so lest work harder for the next semester, and I’m not only talking to the gang, but the WHOLE of 2G02. Let’s study harder and make it through the remaining half of Year 2!

On a lighter note, I went to Hog’s Breath Café at Holland V yesterday because it was Calvin’s mum’s birthday (aka. my aunt’s birthday). We all had a great time there and the food portions were gigantic! Seriously, it was a lot of food, and I was having difficulty eating it all and digesting as well. This place is more for big eaters and Mark is a suitable candidate. Hahahahaha.

Happy Birthday Ah Yi!!!

We once started out as strangers, now we're like family. A really good friend of mine, a Brother in Christ, and also like an earthly brother to me. We have been through good times and tough times, but we made it through it all.
The whole cell group will miss you dearly, and we hope you can come visit us once more with that smile on your face. =)
Thank You for all the good memories you left with us, and we wish you all the BEST in your future studies and Take Care! God Bless!

Yay!!! I really had a fun weekend, which sadly passed all too quickly. Saturday was a big day, because the whole cell gathered to give our dear Ryong a farewell BBQ party at Jon's condo(no,not mine, the other Jonathan in the cell) We all really had A LOT of fun, and got a chance to catch up with all the other members.

Time really flies when you are having fun. It was as if only last week since Ryong joined us for the very first time for cell, now 9 months later, he's flying back to Korea. The exciting thing is, he is going to study in New York end of this month!

New York! Such a cool place to study in, he's really a lucky guy to study in such places. So he's flying off on Wednesday, and we're planning to have a big meal with all the youths in the group, hope it will be a memorable final meal in Singapore for him. Definitely there will be tears and hugging all over, but we're all happy for him all the same. =)

Today, was a good day as well. I can pretty much say I'll have a small job every weekend for the next 3 months, because I've been offered an admin job in my church, and I don't really mind. I would be working in the place which I like, and I get a bit of extra pocket money as well, so I'm glad I can work after such a long time.

OKOK, I better go sleep now,I only had 3 hrs of sleep last night. =X

Take care people!

Just a story I heard.....

There was once an old man living all by himself in a little house, with a well in the front yard.
He had a donkey which lived with him on the landed property, and it was very dear to him.
The old man depended on the donkey to help him make money by transporting things around.
Both of them were able to live with each other for many years.

But one day, the donkey fell into the well, and the old man searched high and low for his donkey.
The donkey called out and the old man followed the sound to the well.
He saw his donkey and tried to get him out, but to no avail.
So the old man thought:I should just bury both the well and donkey, since they are so old.

The old man went to gather all the village people for the final burying ceremony.
Everyone mourned, and each took 1 shovel full of soil and threw it down the well.
The donkey was alarmed at all the soil entering the well, and he panicked.
But then, he figured out something, and began to shrug off the soil on his back.

After a few more shovels, the final shovel-load of soil was for the old man.
He dumped the last bit of soil, and to everyone's amazement, the donkey was standing on the pile of soil, and he stepped out of the well.
Everyone was all too shocked to utter a single word.

What actually happened was that when the donkey shrugged off the soil, the level of soil in the well rose, and the donkey stepped up. With every shovel of soil, the donkey rose higher and higher till he reached the top of the well, and stepped out of it.

In life, many people will throw shovels of soil onto you, and expect you to take it all, but will you be like the donkey? To turn a dire situation to your favour. Anybody can dump shovels of soil on you, and you might recieve a lot, but just take it all, and shrug it all off and learn something out of it, and step up from there. Will you?

PS: This is what I learnt from my Tuesday lesson [aka. School Of Leaders(SOL) 1]

Alrighty, just came home from the briefing session for the Marigold Festival. No,it's not the Marigold drink, but it's a plant name,or rather, the name of the species. To start things off, i woke up at 8.45am, but the surprising thing is; i slept at 6pm the previous day, hahahaha. 14hrs of sleep, and i could have slept a little longer though.

Anyways, went there only to see MJ, everyone else all couldn't make it. So helped out here and there and made a new friend from year 1. Also another malay guy, staying in Tampines (Mat-Central)hahaha, just kidding. Chatted a bit then we were dismissed.

Well, glad that we went for the first session, learnt a few new stuff from Dr Koh, and the festival had a few interesting entries. Both MJ's school and my school were participants in the contest. Hahahaha, it was interesting to see how well Yishun Town did, but sadly, the plants were not that good, but still better than some schools. The teachers in charge of YTSS were Ms Theresa Koh and Mr Philemon Foo, I didn't get a chance to say Hi to them, but i'll be seeing them tomorrow, so no worries.

Really looking forward to tomorrow, all the drama and action to be seen. Till next time people! =)

OK! Where do I begin? Yesterday was a really good day for me, well, because I was baptized yesterday. Hahaha YEA!!!! Really glad it was done, and it was actually quite nerve-racking at first, but then it calmed down just before I was baptized. My feelings were mixed when I was preparing to go in; excited, nervous and scared all together. I know, it's a lot of feelings in one single moment, but it's alright. However, I wasn't the only one in the cell group to get baptized, Miss Lucy was also one of the baptizees', so it was a good thing that we both got inducted into the family of God together, or else I would have felt very lonely by myself.
My family and cell group were all there to witness both of us get baptized, and it was a really memoriable experience for both of us.
Hahaha, okok, so we had a hearty dinner together, and I really enjoyed it because it's been a really long time since we all gathered to have a meal together, and also partially I was high and hyper at the same time. So let's just let the photos do the talking:

Yesterday was all about me, but today, was about someone else, because it's her birthday today! Hahaha, yes, its our dear Rosanna!! 18 years old, finally!! Hahahahaha,so yea, in the morning had a BB enrichment course with the whole company, and honestly, it's been a really long time since I saw all of them, and I'm glad a did. So had a good catered lunch and celebrated all the September babies, Mr Foo was also one of them, hahaha, soon man, very soon.
So after everyone went home, the Primers all stayed back to go out to celebrate Ros' brithday, so we went to Marina Square, and ate Giant Earthquake ice cream at Swensens, and it was really d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s. Then we headed to Comex 2007, and as expected, it was extremely packed, but we went there to see John as well. He's working there as a product promoter, so we looked for him and see if we could get a few good deals at his booth. Along the way, saw ZHC!! Hahaha, really coincidental, he was there to get as new graphics card.

So that's it for this entry, till next time my friends.
