Well, its the ever prevalent holidat syndrome has set in already....... every holiday period,i just go into this limbo where i just do the same things every other day, nothing really interesting actually......oh well, maple is getting kinda boring cause frens all progressing super duper fast, and im just stagnant, not really motivated to train much...... mostly playing audition right now, kinda starting to get boring as well,hahaha,every1 i play with are all using 8 keys,im only using 4 keys......man,keep getting owned.....
i wont be working for the rest of the holidays though, only 3 weeks left, not much if u ask me.....i really really like holidays, but sometimes it just gets too boring with no climax at all.....on the brighter side,no homework/tests/projects,so i still love the holidays.....
so i guess this is a lil entry to freshen up my blog, didnt touch it for quite some time......
hope to get to write about something more interesting next time =)

I PASSED!!!!!!!

Ok,sorry for the caps,but yea,i passed my exams!!! i seriously believed i would fail a certain subject(PAM),but i guess i didnt,hahahahaha,ok here's the low-down on my results:

Well,so these are my results,i know they're not very good, but hey,at least i passed!! im really glad that i did,or else i would have to re-take the failed module, and have to pay xtra $$ to take it again,so sianz....... i wonder if a certain person who failed TXP 3 times passed this time....hmmmmmmm.....i really hope the person did,or else it would be a total disgrace to fail a module 4 times!!!!!

hahahha im really ecstatic, pleased, happy, joyful etc. that i passed....LOL...wooooooooot,hahaha, really hope that every1 of my frens also passed their respective exams and did well ya..... =)
well,i guess that's it for this semester,no more plant names to memorise.

Haizzzzz, just remembered there will be a power cut of my unit tml from 9am-6pm...... -_-'' i really have no idea whatsoever on how to spend the time.....gosh...... this dumb power cut is due to electrical re-wiring in my flat cause there will be new lifts installed in my blk soon(though i have not seen any progress yet....) i guess they'll be more convenient for older folks cause it stops on every floor, but its kinda obvious that the people living on the highest story will have a hard time reaching their floor if a lot of ppl enter the lift.... some will stop on almost every lvl,and i experienced it b4 at my granny's place, and its really annoying: "Level 4 *beep beep beep*,Level 5 * beep beep beep* etc."
its really irritating and i wont be surprised if the lift breaks down after a short period of time...prolly maybe some punk kid/s will just go into the lift and purposely press every level and get out, thus causing distress to people who are rushing home/to work.....
oh well,i guess the new lifts will be of some use,and i should be happy that these lifts will be installed soon, cause i have a frens who wont have such lifts at all,*happy face* ....oh man, back to the stupid power cut.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz i seriously have not a slightest idea on how to spend my time at home without TV,com, fridge cooling system, fan, not even the shower heater!!!! sheesh......... makes u realise that electricity is super duper inportant,haizzzzzzzzz......
dont think i'll see any of u guys online tml,oh well.......

Ok,here's my own reasons NOT to go overseas during holidays, even though parents tend to keep nagging at u just to go somewhere.....

1.Safety: i mean,in the light of the 9/11 incident,i somehow feel hesitant just getting onto a plane,i really dont think its that safe to travel anymore compared to the past. furthermore,if u do get to ur destination safely, i dont think that the country ur in would be totally safe. therefore i'd rather stay in safe little Singapore.

2.Packing: ok,so whenever u wanna travel overseas, packing is a necessity and it can really be a hassle just thinking about what to pack into ur bag. firstly,to pack,u need a big and sturdy luggage bag,(im talking about long trips, like 7-12 days kinda trip),so if u dont have 1,then ur in serious trouble. u need to pack a lot of clothings, especially if ur going to a cold country, and although the cold is a nice change from Singapore's humid climate, wearing a bit of protection against the cold wouldn't hurt...so sometimes i just find myself wrecking my brain over wat to bring and wat not to....its really time consuming and if u forget to just pack in ,say,a windbreaker, then u gotta open ur luggage bag and stuff it in....to me,its just troublesome la....

3.Cost: ok,we all know whenever u travel overseas,a lot of cash would be spent on shopping, shopping and more shopping, which i,personally, dont really like. its just like shopping in the morning, afternoon and night. haha, its really kinda boring to keep shopping throughout the whole trip. and if ur travelling in a package tour, there would be a tourguide to show u around,so u have to tip tat person as well.

4.Tourguides: unless ur travelling free-and-easy,u would have a tour guide showing u around the country and its many attractions, however, most of the time, the tourguides whom i have encountered usually just keep talking on and on about the place, not bothering to talk loud enough to let the people at the back of the tourgroup to hear properly....i have been in that position too many a times already..... sometimes, the tourguides are kinda weird,if we come across another tourgroup, our tourguide will try to out-speak the other tourguide in the other tourgroup.....its really difficult to listen in these situations...hahaha.....

5.Free-and-easy: like i stated earlier,if u go on a free-and-easy tour, its usually more about shopping, and i'm not really a shop-a-holic,so i would usually stay in the hotel room and just flip through the tv channels for an interesting programme showing. however,if u end up in a country which does not have English as the national language, then i guess most of the channels would be in foreign languages, exceptional of maybe a few movie channels and the news channels,so i would be stuck watching either boring movies or dozing off while listening to the news.....

6. Food: lastly would be the food in the country ur in..... those of u who have travelled would have certainly tasted an assortment of flavours and cuisines of the local country. i know i have, and some were absolutely addictive, while others just dont really appeal to my taste buds, and still make me sick just thinking about it. yuck! bleah......

So as u can see, im not a really big fan of travelling out of Singapore, and my reasons are up there for u all to consider again before travelling out of the country...lol....so tats it i guess,i'll blog again soon yea..

Well, i just came home from 1G02's class BBQ,woooot!!!!!!! so what else am i gonna blog about but about the BBQ la.... lolx, prepare for a really really long entry,i apologise if it gets boring,im like writing this at 12am,super duper tired and dead-beat.......

Ok,lets see, firstly met up wth MJ at Paya Lebar MRT to head down to Parkway Parade where we met up with Amalyna,Nis and Fie,we headed into Giant supermarket and started our mini shopping spree for our BBQ supplies. after a period of deciding which money-saving items to buy,we headed to Nis's house to crash for a lil while....then in the scorching heat of the afternoon sun,we went off to ECP(East Coast Park,if some of u dont know).

we then met up with Ben and Mark, and the charcoal Ben bought turned out to be of quite an unusual shape-it was like a sphere, but squarish in shape.....really different from the normal log-like charcoals we usually use...and those mutilated charcoal bits later turned out to be really useless when we tried to heat them up,they couldn't even burn properly.....sheesh...so much for cute-looking charcoal...hahaaaha... so we all headed to our BBQ pit and started to settle down.... then GZ came and we all just chatted away because it was only like 3pm,which is really an awkward time to start the fire,so Hidayah appeared in her favourite colour-black,and the gals went out to buy better charcoal and prawns,so we guys all sat around chatting till about 4 plus, then GZ went to cut his hair, and it was when all hell broke lose....
i'm referring to the tedious beginning of starting a fire, and i tell u,it really was a headache....the weird charcoals just didnt light up properly, fortunately the gals returned and saved us with the normal charcoal and normal firestarters....so we set about starting mini fires and it took us like 45mins just to make a small pile of charcoals burning at the correct temperature in the midst of too much laughing gas.....the others took a lil more time to burn properly but yea,in the end we could get the fire burning and stared cooking....somehow,minute-sized bits of charcoal dropped onto the ground, and unfortunately for me,i was bare-footed,so i just stepped onto a burning piece of charcoal, and it BURNED!!! it was seriously hot and pain....goodness....it happened a second time even though i had socks on!! sheesh! i was freakin angry at the charcoal,so i just put on my shoes to avoid tat stupid incident from happening again, and now i have like small pimples on the soles of my foot la.....hahaha,it turned out that some of my frens who were wearing slippers, didnt notice anything until they looked at the soles of their slippers.....the charcoal bits burned holes in the slippers!! kinda freaky if u ask me......so to summarise everything,we kept on cooking,Iqbal arrived finally, and joined in,and we ended the BBQ with a game of Twister, and a whole lot of laughing and some provocative and weird postures,hahahahahax......
all in all,it was a really fun and enjoyable BBQ....somehow it was back to only half the class turning up,the other half were either working, overseas,or just plain lazy to get out of their house,oh well,it still was really fun with only half the class, and i guess it was really cool to meet up for a small BBQ session...
well,i guess i'll stop here now,my eye lids are really heavy and my mum scolding and pestering me to sleep.haiz......okok i'll blog again real soon =)

*A Special Tribute To Friends*
well,i guess this world would be much of a world without these special beings. they come in all shapes and sizes: big,small,thin,wide...... no matter what, friends are people who help u get through life. they help u when u fall down, they support u if u are in need, they're there for u whenever u need help. some friends make u laugh hard, some are just purely lame. some are there for u to confide in them, some to gossip about everyday matters. some are the class clowns, some are the serious and nerdy types. in any case, friends are friends and i believe they are all special in their own way. even though some can get on your nerves, just put up with it,who knows, maybe he/she could be the person saving u from a life-threatening situation.....
i just wanna say that i am really thankful for all my friends, yea every single 1 of u reading this blog entry right now.. =) either be it u're a great friend or just an aquaintance, i just wanna thank each and every1 of u who have helped me through my life, and i am grateful to have such crazy but really special people in my life. =)
