well,today went back to YT bright and early in the morning(ok,it was freakin raining heavily,so it wasn't really bright,but u get the picture...) so yea,met up with ZHC to go to sch,and i had to bring an umbrella for him to shelter his precious hair,hahhaahaha, so i dumbly brought it along to school....lol,he said, and i quote,"the rain is acidic".....haha,well its just him,no probs with me.....
so we met up with Han Ming,Qiao Chu,Rus,Fiz and Daryll,and we all headed to school.....
we reached there about 8.30am i guess,and the concert was just about to start....but this year,it was a combined concert,not split up like the past few years.Must be ''Fish'' Tan's funny idea to combine...oh well.....anyway the performace started with various bands dedicating songs to teachers,and to be really really truthful,the performances were quite bad i suppose.....the bands were all in a mess,the lead singers could hardly be heard over the noise of the audience,and even if they could be heard,their voices would not even land them near the auditions of Singapore Idol.....believe me,u wouldn't want them to sing in any audition(it makes me think how they even got thru the auditions to perform today).....
anyway,the backstage crew was partly to blame as well(as usual).....the amps for the electric guitars were so soft that only a soft sound could be heard,the microphones were terrible as usual,always crapping up the worst possible times,and the only thing which was making most of the noise were the drums....and throughout each band performance,my arm hair was literally standing up cause it was really very difficult to listen to it.......
well,as the performance progressed(no more bands,thank goodness!),it started to get interesting,more dancing and singing,which was quite standard....but there were a few acts which were particularly interesting. this year was the first time that karate was performed,and it was quite cool actually...hahaha,because it was something different from the singing and stuff..... there was another act which might be familiar with some of u,there was this dude who was immitating a famous stand-up comedian,Russell Peters.....yea,Russell Peters,and tat guy was quite good actually,he cracked a few good jokes,kudos to that brave comedian-wannabe.....hahaha..
well,after the whole performance gig,all the teachers were invited up on stage to cut a Teachers' Day cake,like usual,and the principal had to give a short speech,and it turned out that "Fish" Tan was taking the whole school thru his teaching experience,blah blah blah,saying that this celebration in YT was the "most colourful and vibrant performance in my 15 years of teaching"and it wad kinda dumb if u ask me(he probably said this to his other schools as well).....goodness,stop boasting and just cut the cake la,so every1 can go home without looking at ur boring face....oh well....he went on for about 5 mins....in the mean time,i went out of the hall to meet some of my other frens,and we just chit-chatted and did a bit of catching up with each other....
so after the hall was cleared of students,we went to look for our teachers and just mingled around with them and my dear form teacher, Ms Chiang, forgot some of my classmates' names!!!! hahaha, it had only been like what? 5-6 months,and u forgot some of their names already,hahaha,oh well,she's like that,but we just got to chat with her as well to pass some time.....after that,we bade each other farewell,and went our seperate ways......
so yea,that was just about it,although i was supposed to go with some of my buds to watch a movie,but they planned to watch 'Snakes on the Plane',or something like that,and those movies dont really appeal to me(really sorry guys),so im back home and doing this little(ok,super long) update now....and yea,tats it for now i guess..... i'll blog again some other time....

Skin Facelift

Well,u might have noticed,i changed my blog skin...i really like this skin mainly because of the slogan,which i really like.. the previous skin was quite noobish and it was seriously very simple and there was this persistent error happening everytime......oh well, at least this skin is much better,although it still looks plain.....anyways its the start of the holidays for me,and like in my previous post,im looking forward to having a good time in this 1 month or so.....so i'll blog again if anything interesting happens.....

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can smell the fresh scent of freedom and liberation!!! woot!!!!!! oh yeaaaaaaaa.... no more parenchyma nor sclerenchyma to mess up my brain,no more hydrochloric acid to dissolve my brain cells,and most of all,no more difficult plant names to make me cathartica,hahahahah......

just hope i dont repeat my modules again(TXP/PAM)....please dont let me see those subjects again.....haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

its time to finally chill out and relax and play.....anyways,im looking forward to 1G02's BBQ at ECP,should be a good outing and good time to spend a day out with my fellow horticulturists barbequing axonopus compressus as well....who knows....hahahahha maybe we could read "Nivea and the seven pygmaeus" around the BBQ pit ehhh.....LOL.....just cant get these latin names out of my head.....

dont fret old frens,going out with u guys is also part of my schedule ya.....so dont feel left out,hahahaha,wonder if anybody going back to YT for Teachers' Day...hmmmm...

oh well,another holiday means time to find a job,unfortunately,my previous job was kinda sucky, lousy boss;co-workers;conditions, only the pay is good......sheeshhhh.........decisions decision.......

Aw well,at least i can relax and play,but for those of you how have yet to complete your exams,i wish all of u the Best of Luck and Study hard!!!! pls dont repeat module please..........

I was just taking a short break from the books and i flipped the tv on and it was at Discovery Travel & Living channel(only on SCV though). and it was a programme called 5 Takes. its a programme which features 5 travel journalists(TJs') travelling around the globe to feature different countries. and they were featuring Little India and somehow i was shocked at who the guide was.....it was none other than Prashant's little bro--Hayman(sry if i mis-spell it)!!!and he's not even 16!!! it was so shocking man....kinda cool to see someone you recognise showing foreigners around Singapore and its on National TV too!!!! how cool is that!!!
haha,now i'm beginning to like this channel because its really interesting to see your very own country featured in the eyes of a foreigner.....wooot!! you can really see that the things you take for granted in your country,but they are really an eye-opener to others.... for example the TJs didnt know wat accupuncture was...kinda weird eh....hahaha....
OMG!!! to end the journey in singapore,the TJs went to Prashant's house to have dinner!!! goodness! sweet!! :) its really really cool to see this kind of thing happening yea.....niceeeeee.Prashant must be super proud man...seriously nice!!

National Day Rally Speech

I'm now currently listening in on the National Day Rally Speech by PM Lee, and it really is very interesting and informative. it really is an eye-opener and somehow i feel that the speech will actually affect us teenagers indirectly. he raised some very good points and some of the points are referring to us actually. haha...

to those of you who don't listen to the National Day Rally Speech,let me tell u know...it really is a good way to know what is happening in Singapore and it's occassionaly amusing as well..hahax...(but my mum is complaining this year's speech is boring).....

i really admire speakers like him,because they can keep talking on and on and on without any script, and he already went on for more than 1hr !! phew.... must be a very big mouthful.....

i wonder why i'm watching this show now when i should be burying my head in my books....oh well....wont hurt to take a short break eh... :P

ah well,think i better get some shut-eye and gotta wake up early to study again....haizzzzzzz....

PHEW!!! finally finally completed setting up my very first blog......it toook me about 5 whole hours just to get it right. well, i must thank MJ,Nisa and Zailan for helping me out with my bloggy.... hahax, i will do u guys proud and keep my blog fun and interesting....well.... on a more depressing note, to get this blog up and running,i passed the oppotunity to go out with some of my frens....haizzzx oh well,my sincere apologies to u guys {u know who u are}... aw well,anyways,on the bright side, i can finally pen my thoughts down in this blog and hopefully get constructive comments from people....not some anonymous person giving weird and down-right rude comments,like one of my frens who had such an encounter.....
